Interesting that the cosmic energy emitted from Elliptical Galaxy NGC 1132 that we see today as light, started it’s long journey to earth almost 300 million years ago. That’s a lot of little photons crying out “are we there yet?” What’s amazing to me is how large The Universe really is. And to think when we flip the switch, we expect light to be instant.
